Calendar — Mikbum Comics

For over two years, Hikaru has been living her life as though it had been on pause. But on her first day of second year, everything changes when a third-year student she's never met, Tadashi, kisses her in the middle of the hallway.

Baffled by this unexpected introduction, Hikaru suddenly finds herself being pulled along by Tadashi's endless enthusiasm. She is swept into unfamiliar experiences, moments that push her beyond her comfort zone, and new friendships that help guide her in rediscovering the world beyond the one she had been living in. And little by little, the pages of her life that she thought had stopped, begin moving forward again.

Calendar follows the lives of eight students as their stories intertwine through friendship, change, and the everyday moments that shape who they become.

Tadashi Amachi

Class 3-F

A third-year student at Gingko Academy, Tadashi is best friends with Seishin, and has been friends with Yukitaka and Toshinari for 3 years. Tadashi is head over heels for Hikaru. He lives with his mother and their dog, Nori.

Hikaru Chiyo

Class 2-D

Age: 16 | Height: 170cm / 5'7"

A second-year student at Gingko Academy and Seishin's sister, Hikaru grew up alongside childhood friends Airi and Kiyoshi — and was once childhood sweethearts with Kiyoshi. She works at a cafe after school and on weekends.

Kiyoshi Hiro

Age: 18 | Height: 188cm / 6'2"

A student at Gingko Academy, Kiyoshi grew up alongside childhood friends Seishin, Yukitaka, and Hikaru — and was once childhood sweethearts with Hikaru. He loves his family dearly, and also riding his motorbike.

Seishin Chiyo

Class 3-A

Age: 18 | Height: 182cm / 6'0"

A third-year student at Gingko Academy and Hikaru's brother, Seishin is best friends with Tadashi and has spent the last three years alongside Toshinari and Yukitaka. He's captain of the soccer team and loves books.

Airi Mori

Class 2-C

Age: 16 | Height: 157.5cm / 5'2"

A second-year student at Gingko Academy, Airi is Hikaru's best friend and childhood friend. A hopeless romantic who loves otome games and shojo manga, she also tends to be very anxious.

Hana Akemi

A second-year student at Gingko Academy and classmate of Hikaru's, Hana is training to be an idol. She can come across as very cold to people who don't know her.

Toshinari Kuribayashi

A third-year student at Gingko Academy, Toshinari is best friends with Yukitaka and has spent the last three years alongside Seishin and Tadashi. He's not very good at school, but loves cooking and fashion.

Satoko Soda

A second-year student at Gingko Academy and class president, Satoko is classmates and friends with Airi. She was previously on the volleyball team but quit in her first year, and has been childhood friends with Mitsue.

Yukitaka Hato

A third-year student at Gingko Academy, Yukitaka is best friends with Toshinari and has spent the last three years alongside Seishin and Tadashi. He grew up as neighbours with Kiyoshi before they moved, loves to flirt, and is always looking for "the one."
